How were you diagnosed?

Hi,

I'm just curious, how did you get your diagnosis?

I asked to be diagnosed by the NHS but they said they didn't assess adults in my area, which I thought was really dumb. 

So please can you share with me if you feel comfortable:

1. Age diagnosed
2. NHS or private diagnosis
3. What region you live in eg. county or as specific as you feel comfortable (be careful not to give out too much personal information)

Mine is:

2. Private
3. Essex
