Hi there! I was diagnosed in December 2018 at the age of 37. It was an nhs assessment and diagnosis. I live in Essex but was assessed and diagnosed at the Maudsley hospital in South London.

I was apparently a late talker and was eventually diagnosed not long after I started school; so around 4 or 5 years old. I think it was an NHS diagnosis but I can't be certain. I was diagnosed in the West Midlands.

I won't ask where in South Wales, but just to say that I was born there. As soon as I see or hear any mention of 'South Wales', I tend to home in on it.

2. NHS, although this was a 2nd opinion (my local ASC screening people would not offer me an assessment as they just said I was suffering from anxiety). My GP obtained out of county funding through my local CCG.
