I get very bothered by it too Jon - there's way too much confrontation in the world and I come on here to try get away from it - be great if we could all be nice to each other, or at least civil and respectful eh? xxx

Agreed. I hate people falling out. I find it hard to guage how serious it is and can be the only one who is left feeling bothered by it. I understand peoples frustrations at the lack of support and understanding. I feel that too. But on here I feel it is the pooling of some amazing minds. From my own experience I misunderstand and get misunderstood. Can't we just be nice to each other?

Ranting can be extremely annoying to read - it drives me crazy too. But... I do understand what is like to be so cross that you've just gotta tell someone - and to hell with the consequences!!! End of the day though I think we are all a little frustrated by the lack of autism specific help - it just aint there - I asked my outreach worker this week - what would it be like if we were the majority and all you so called NTs had to fit in with us? All of the "help" is created and given by NTs who can only offer what they think is helpful - perhaps it would be more useful if we knew how to deal with them and how they think - if that makes any sense! Don't enjoy coming on here when people are falling out though - I cannot deal with that stuff and I don't think it is needed on here. xxx

It's not the topic of discussion that is the problem, autismtwo.

It's the way that you 'discuss' it.

And saying things like "I'll save my conversation for the adults" only makes matters worse.

The problem is, autismtwo, that people come here seeking help and advice, not to be told repeatedly how *** everything is.

We know how *** the system is.

Paull there was all us a couple of weeks ago talking about this and getting nowhere with a consensus on the forum. It was as if what we were saying was too negative for people to listen too.

Sorry but I am totally cynical about this,, obligations not met since 2010,,, held until 2014.. FOUR FCUKING YEARS later and even then,, it is just a bloody head count and some bogus NAS professional training schedule ! why are these government authorities not getting held to account !!! because it is a bullshit government pals act. FINE THEM and SACK THEM for there incompetence. ! Sometimes, I wish I lived in a real country !
