Books

Does anyone else like books and reading?

What are you currently reading or just finished?

I love books and reading. I love escaping into fictional places for a time Slight smile

I recently finished reading James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl. One of my all time fave books. And now I've started The Ice Monster by David Walliams.

Parents
  • My parents would always tell me that I lived in my own little world, especially when I was growing up. Now I'm getting ready to head to college soon so I've been forced to face reality and some trauma I haven't had as much time for it.

But currently now that things are calm and safe I'm getting back to my old escapism habits that help me cope with the world (but without entirely disappearing into my world this time) and reading has been helping. I'm currently reading Eldest by Christopher Paolini, if you like high fantasy with morals and enemies that are a little too black and white (good v evil is too clear cut when in real life its so much more frustrating and confusing) this is your book. But you've gotta read Eragon first.

And the best book I've ever read is Sadie by Courtney Summers.

Ack, sorry, I could rant about books for hours. Such a great post!
