Problems with no answers

It is alright having the autism problems/issues questions, but what are the true real answers ? We all talk here and pass the ball about, but no one actually has the ball.(solutions).

Maybe it is my autism trait, I just wish clear questions with clear answers. It is like the land of confusion here, which doesn't help the condition of autism which can be the land of confusion anyway,, hey ! I feel at home now Wink

Seriously !

I think that is were the frustration with the NAS comes from, they are suppose to be the experts/guides/champions, but they just point you onto an exit sign too nowhere ?

I feel like a person without legs but is being told by the world and the NAS have you tried running or run faster ?

  • Hi autismtwo,

I like your analogy. I wouldn't say I'm acting as a direct messenger to the 'king' and it sometimes takes me a bit of time to walk the path to 'the castle' to get a detailed answer to questions posted here, but NAS departments do now, and have always, posted replies on the community where relevant. I'm here to make sure members have a safe and fully functioning web space to have open discussions and, should any of the discussions require input from NAS teams, I make sure they are aware of the thread here on the community.

This forum was never set up as a place to pose questions or complaints to the NAS - there is a clear feedback structure for this. The community is a service allowing people affected by autism to gain support from one another and discuss things important to them. We are starting to use live chat functionality to provide further accessibility the staff here at the NAS and, while only in the early stages at the moment, I'm looking to grow this offering going forward.

My PR skills are a bit rusty, I think. My mum says I'm too honest to 'spin' things so rest assured, my interest lies with ensuring the community is as effective and useful a support service as it can be.

Sending this message back by dove (kind of like an old style version of Twitter, I guess).

    Best wishes,
    Mike, NAS
