Paying private for an ASD and an ADHD test

I've just been diagnosed as an adult snd went private.  Didnt take that long, a couple of months.

I also know a family thst went NHS for their 11yo daughter who was clearly autistic but she didn't meet the criteria.  She then went private a similar time to me and she has now been diagnosed.  She went through a rough patch and since being diagnosed seems to be making better choices.   She hasn't yet come to terms with the diagnosis but is dealing and understanding more about herself.

I would recommend going private if you can afford it.   

Hi there, would you mind sharing how much a private diagnosis would cost ? 

They seem to be in the range of £800 - £1200 for adults, I suspect the child rate would be similar.
