NAS Bashing

Can I suggest a seperate strand for people who want to go on and on about how terrible the NAS is? You are fully entitled to your opinions and they may or may not be valid - that is not my point. But the forum is being inundated by shouty emails, which are not discussions and have a distinctly aggressive tone. Is this the right platform for it? The forum is not a place for discussions between members and the NAS, so it's not surprising that the NAS doesn't respond to your posts. If you have a problem with the NAS, take it up with the NAS, rather than shouting at other people with autism.  If you want to form a group, go ahead - suggest a place where you can get together online and go there - that's why a seperate strand might be a solution, if you stay on this forum. I doubt if I'm the only member who feels this way. I am an aspie and I am an adult and I am frustrated with having to wade through all the anger.

  • Hi all,

Thank you for your posts above. All the comments, and the other discussions started around similar topics, have been seen by the NAS and your feedback on our services noted.

We hope this NAS community service provides a place for people affected by autism, parents and carers to ask for support and receive peer recommendations and advice. My concern here is that when multiple threads are started based on similar topics, it is making it increasingly difficult for new members to find the content and advice they are looking for as they first have to first scroll through the many latest posts.

We appreciate there are some members that are unhappy with the performance of the NAS and would like to take this opportunity to hear your feedback in detail. If you would like to discuss your concerns about the NAS services you have encountered, please email the details and your contact information to community.manager@nas.org.uk. Alternatively, if you would like to make a complaint about the NAS, please send us your completed feedback form.

    Best wishes,
