Life isn't meant to be fair

Life kicks us in the teeth so much,  yet we expect things to be different the next time.

Life isn't fair, and nor is it meant to be. Things are beyond explanation.

The greater our expectations, the greater our resentments.

  • The notion of ‘meant to be’ implies a plan design or purpose. If life isn’t ‘meant to be’ fair then my question is according to who's plan and why should I care what someone who doesn’t value fairness thinks?

If you mean by saying ‘isn’t meant to be‘ that there is no plan then again I say why not? Why is there no plan? If there is no plan why haven’t you made one? Or I? And if there is no other plan what makes our plans any less valid than no plan at all.

life is meant to be fair, because according to my plan it should be. And I question why anyone else would want a plan where it isn’t? If you follow my meaning?
