Lack of Maturity

Aidie is using multiple profiles.

While I admit to doing that in the past, it's no longer my behaviour.

It's a reinforcement of negative stereotypes of those with Autism.

"When I was a child,  I acted like a child, I spoke like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I was a man, I gave up childish behaviour." (1 Corinthians 13:11)

Parents

  • Many of us feel this way. I personally have seen Aidie attack LemonLady who was knew to the forum and call her a "con artist" and be really beligerant/hateful towards her. This shocked me & I immediately unfriended them. They are still sending me messages asking why I changed my profile name, as if I have to explain myself to them, although they have been "unfriended" and only friends can send PM's.

    ***MODERATORS---Please take a look at this...it's a REAL PROBLEM & we've been promised that this is a safe space, where no one will receive bullying***** It is clear that many of us do not feel safe with this person around. It feels like bc they've been here for 4yrs+ (what they told me) that they are getting special treatment. What about all the post Aidie talked about a serial killer friend, talks about "killing" voices in their head? I don't & haven't felt safe with the person on the forum & it doesn't seem to matter.
