self harming

Hi I have a 17 year old daughter who has aspergers. When stressed she self harms usually by cutting but just recently she has started to rip her hair out from the roots.

Hi have you spoken to her doctor because it might be linked with OCD, look at OCD Action website they have a section about hair pulling ect might help.
I have AS i offeten think about harming myself but it tends to be thoughts caused by OCD.
