Handwriting

My son hates writing ans his handwriting is so bad. I don’t know how to help him. 

He is 7 this year. 

could it be linked to sensory?

  • Yes it can be ASD related. Autistic children are more likely to have poorer quality handwriting. 

    Unfortunately at some point He is likely to have to do some practice. I did and my handwriting is still poor, but is at least legible most of the time. He is only 7 and is unlikely to want to practice, but in a couple of year he will see the benefit so I wouldn't see a reason to push it
