My 9 year old son has just been diagnosed and could really do with some friends

Hi everyone 

I've just joined after my sons recent diagnosis. 

I could really do with some advice.

My son is 9 and has become very isolated,  he only had a few friends but they no longer bother with him.

He is no longer attending mainstream school, im currently waiting for his educational health care plan to be done so we can get him into a more specialist school.

In the meantime he has become so sad, he plays on both xbox and ps4 but no longer has any online friends Cry

I'm trying to help get him some online friends, does anyone know of anything?

Or are there anyone who has a child who would like to add him on xbox or ps4, he could really do with some friends. 

Makes me so sad to see him so sad!

  • What area you from, our 9 year-old son has just been given diagnosis of having autism. He is mad for his ps4 and loves playing fortnite and Minecraft. We have his EHCP and are now looking at schools other than mainstream schools.

    I've been listening to him online laughing and having so much fun! They seem to be getting on really well, thankyou so much Blushhope Aston is enjoying himself too! I hope u find the right school for Aston and thankyou once again Slight smile
