I'm doing a big of a bucket-list run-through and trying things I've never done before.
The last two have been real let-downs - I tried black pudding - never liked the thought of it - and it was gross - like a great big greasy scab.
The other is something that my brother-in-law has been promoting for years - a McFish Fillet burger. It's the only thing he eats from McD.
Had one yesterday - it's just a big fish finger with practically no flavour. Watery and bland. It rates as a great big 'meh'.
What have you done recently that was not as described?
Those magnificent men in their Flying Machines!
Gosh you've got a good memory.
I remember that. In the relaxation zone, they had a tune the called "Long Player". Longplayer is a self-extending composition by British composer and musician Jem Finer which is designed to continue for one thousand years.

Another thing that helps is lying on your back on a Pilates roller. I'm not sure what their proper name is, it's like a solid tube with a bumpy surface. It resets your spine, it does wonders for me.
I can't even remember what I liked about it, as it was over 20 years ago now, but it seemed magical to me.
I have a very kind friend - he's very ASD - he has a helicopter licence and has to complete enough hours per year - so he just rings me up when he's going flying and I'm very grateful 'self-loading cargo'.
We've been all over the place - went to the Isle of Wight for a burger once.
Yes I went there. We went when it was half-price. Yeah I did like it, it was good for me too because it was so quiet there... not so good for their financial situation though.
Great photo. My OH and son did the walk over the Dome - they said it was amazing. I have a heights issue, so not for me, but I like to imagine what it would have been like.
I've been to gigs in the O2 and flown over it a couple of times...
There's now a Belfast Eye; and the 'Balls at the Falls' on the Roundabout heading towards the Royal Hospital from the M1/Westlink.
Now known as the O2.
I did however go to the Millennium Dome, I won a prize to go. Loved it, especially the relaxing room, whatever it was called. Did you go to that?
Oh can I look up the Epley manoeuvre? I will. Sounds interesting! I'm always getting dizzy.
I've done aerobatic flying lessons - I loved it.
Congratulations of getting the horse to work but it's a shame you couldn't keep doing it.
it might be bppv its calcium crystals get dislodged in the ear and trigger the feeling of spinning ,you sort of move your head in a certain way to get them back where they should be called the Epley maneuver. but it does take a while to work totally,
Oh that's interesting about the sickness. I get that too. If I move at all e.g. car, bus, playground swing, I feel terrible and it lasts hours/ days. I don't move at all now, I stay still at home and don't go out.
Sorry but that made me laugh. It sounds the opposite of relaxing. Mindlessness is a good description.
They say now that all this mindfulness is leading to people being narcissistic- maybe you had a lucky escape.
Totally agree - those big wheels became a very fashionable way for councils all over the world to blow millions of public money.on a big, round, white elephant.
The worst is the Orlando Eye - Disney parks in the far, far distance but generally nothing but trees for miles in every direction - the only good view is of the I4 motorway and the decaying buildings of International Drive.
went up in a small plane [,wife bought an experience as a birthday present] ,done a loop the loop and a barrel run, sick for a few hours after and next morning world started spinning ,lasted on and off for about 2 years.Something to do with crystals in the inner ear becoming detached .
and i always had the idea to get a horse and train it to ride and do farm work, saw a unbroken 2 year old ardenne mare at new forest auction and went for it ,took about 2 years but did ride her and pulled a few logs around .but found my anxiety levels make horses spooky ,even bombproof ones start getting nervous with me ,so was all a bit dissapointing and i broke 4 ribs
Sorry to all you Londoners - but it was the London Eye. Not sure what I expected for my £20 - it was a few years ago - but I prefer the Hop-on-Hop Off bus for my views.
Edited: Though thinking about how things are now, what I wouldn't give to be able to do that again.
