Absolutely mentally exhausted parent

My son is 9,he has ASD and each day seems more challenging that the previous one. His behaviour is so bad and I am all out of options. Its now at the point where myself and his Dad are considering separating as our marriage isn't in the best of placed due to the struggles we face each day. It seems after diagnosis there is no further assistance. I feel vey overwhelmed by it all.

  • I now how u feel ,i found that my son started to become more stable after 9,his behaviour was worst at about 7 ,he is 13 now and much easier to  live with. Outside pressures cause a lot of stress ,which he will not understand ,the thing to remember is it is even harder for him as he is 9 and has asd.Thats what i tell myself when things are hard. You just have to be the stable nad fair thing in his life .I know it is easy to say ,but try to think of the bigger picture not the little things
