CHICKEN POX

I had Chicken Pox,, really bad when I was young, my two brothers also had the disease at the same time but laughed and skipped about eating Ice Cream, whilst I went into fever, a mass of spots and near death.

Anyone else with Autism experience Chicken Pox really badly ?

There is another reason why I write this post, my son also caught chicken pox and since then as been diagnosed also with Autism.

If I look at photos of him, he is a different person post chicken pox, you can see it in the photos of him quite evident.

    It's likely to be several genes, hence the spectrum of conditions, involved, but yes, as myself and other keep on having to repeatedly state the scientific understanding of the Autistic Spectrum conditions is that they are caused by inherited genes. Whether you wish to call those genes 'mutated' really comes down to your view of Autism, I think.
