To quote someone's message, first select/highlight the relevant text, and then use the Quote button that appears
To "mention" someone, type @ followed by the start of the forum name, and choose from the list; that person will get a notification of being mentioned

WARNING : you have rename the photograph from a .jpg or .png to a .gif file. This software only allows the inserting/uploading of GIF files

I had a couple of photos I wanted to share but I'm having trouble converting them to gif on my new MacBook.

I'm puzzled why this website insists on GIF files?

I don't convert jpeg to gif. I just rename them as gifs.

I also tried renaming but it isnt working for me. I'm still getting used to Mac OS too. This is my first MacBook I am using. If they change it to allow other file formats I will try upload some pics I taken when I was out walking once.

I tried to upload the big standard jpg files and this site did nothing.

I haven't found the help section on this site explaining what files it accepts. Perhaps someone could help.
