I feel let down by my country

I feel let down by the direction Northern Ireland has taken.

They bend over backwards to get people on benefits. Yet, if you're looking work, you're treated as an outcast.

However, on a positive note, it's darkest before dawn. My brother and I plan to have our home and land sold next Spring. Then, I can get a home of my own. But all the bureaucratic wreckage left behind by our late Grandmother's fear of the Taxman has delayed the process so much, it's not even funny.

As they said on 'Four Christmases,' "You can't spell families without lies!"

  • Good luck with it all.     Is there any kind of business you can run in rural location?    Eco-training maybe?    Teaching people how to be more green?    I'd look at taking as many benefits & grants as possible until you can make a workable business that fits with your needs.
