Not a happy bunny

I was supposed to meet someone today for tea in town. As you can imagine, it was not easy getting out of bed at 9am with the heavy rain hitting the windows, and still in a sleep fog. But the power of the will prevailed and I got the bus into town.

I waited outside the cafe for over half an hour, but the person in question did not turn up. Feeling stressed, I got the bus back home, feeling irritated and annoyed.

Maybe she got the day wrong? She has not attempted to contact me.

Even worse, I arrived 10 minutes early.

  • i undersand this can be quite stressful to autistics, when arangments arent kept as the routine and expectation is broken and it will be running through your head, you wont understand what happend, why, etc,

but as denise says, you are best to call the person and ask as it could be any number of things, it does sound like she just forgot as she didnt contact you, and i understand that will also be frustrating, but all you can do is try to help your frustration by doing things you enjoy and know helpSmile
