Am I the only one noticing lots and lots of new posts from new users where they never return to check back with their urgent questions? It's like they are cut-n-pastes from other forums. I'm beginning to think these are just padding to make the forum look more busy than it really is.
I'm getting very reluctant to bother replying to any of them as I don't believe they are real people.
Anyone else noticing this pattern?

I only post/venture somethings because it is *You* asking, and You are part of the better continuity/consistency here. By that I mean that You have been here a good while, and try to do Your best while maintaining a good standard...
...That said, I am a bit surprised to see this question from Your Good Self, Sir...! As with Society in general, certain persons will just post to get an answer... then not bother and/or will forget about (this) Forum(s).
This Forum is supposedly "just a place to talk about Autism or a place where Autistics can talk.", more-or-less. & despite the fact that questions may be worded or asked about other things (e.g. Star Trek, Pokemon, Music, Cookery, etc.)...
The ("drive through") persons You refer to will generally be the "I have a Child!" or "Eeeek What is Autism yikes?!" people; They are finding it new or weird or scary, and are largely seeking an answer which they may use to propel themselves towards a completely different perspective not necessarily to do with even acknowledging "Autism". (...Sorry.)
It is very few in number, that those getting over that sort of initial "Autism" business, see that they *can* remain here and be helpful to others. Those that are good will do so and will post helpful things, and those that are bad will remain and post unhelpful things without attempting apology/explanation.
...*Phew.*. After writing all of that, what I ALSO mean to say is, I think, something I might have said to You before. You are great, but when feeling over-stretched (no pun intended there), then please do take a break from this Forum. (It is easy to mix up the genuine Posters with the Spammers, but, bottom line is, this here IS the WWW where Spammers can copy genuine posts.) Just trust Your own feelings and learn and do not post when tired or feeling distant. In order to look after Yourself the first person to rely upon is Yourself.
This post is long, I shall close it with some, um, sympathy. Yes, it is extremely annoying to become concerned over a person who posts without replying to answers (This sometimes even includes NAS!), So I do not reply as much as I at first used to. Of Users, Some will reply and then leave, never to return. Still less will reply, leave, then come back later after a few years. Yet Some copy others verbatim and *that* is Spam. It is just the way that the WWW works, just like in real life: Crime or Lying intermingle with Beneficial or Honest Folk, alas; so just learn from it until Autistic TMI happens, then take a break...
I post all of this sort of hoping that at least some sentences of this Post are useful; Meantime, Fare Thee Well, Mr.Stretchy... 
(P.S. - SPAM here is also more likely to happen during Summer, Major Holidays, Major Sporting Events, and at Weekends.)

I post to explain Myself & before this Thread drops down way too far... but this *is* a hasty post... My reasons for disappearing just now, I have said in other Threads, but they are because of the HOT WEATHER and Skilled Hackers currently present...
(The latest one is posting underneath the History (hint: at updates of photos), without a visible Thread, yet due to the older Hack of "Faked 9 Upvotes Discussion Starter Achievement Award", they have gained a high reputation by doing not much at all. See the "Forum Security" Thread for more detail of what I am trying to say, here...)
I last Posted here when there was a dip in the Hot Weather... currently there is another. But I do not know when I may post again for certain. I live in London where there is not only Hot Weather but POLLUTION, You see...
Official "HeatWave Warnings" from the Meterological office are from June 1st until September 15th. So that is a reason why I might largely be M.I.A. just now... including Hackers.
(It would be nice if NAS read this message and understood it. One thing I really do not like is when Malicious Hackers Post, and yet *their* accounts are ignored/not removed/allowed back after a certain time...!??)
