What’s everyone doing this weekend?

I am in a caravan (week on holiday) currently watching match of the day (not my choice) with my 2 year old who won’t go to sleep! Earlier I went to Wroxham barns with my 5 year old and bought souvenirs in the gift shops, went in the animal farm part and had afternoon tea with my 5 year old. I just wondered what everyone else is doing this weekend?

  • We've just had a weekend in Warwick - did the castle - which is basically a big old wall with a fake 1870s Victorian recreation of the castle and the actual living quarters are quite modern.    The rain spoilt most of the outdoor activities there.     We popped along to the International Model Boat Show - much, much smaller than the name would suggest.      Aspie central!    Didn't buy anything.

We visited Gaydon motor museum where we re-lived our motoring past - we've both had a lot of BL cars between us.   There was a model train show being held in their 1st floor corporate spaces - again, Aspie central!  Smiley

  • I am absolutely green with envy at your visiting of Warwick Castle! It's a shame that it's not very original though! Did it have any decent memorabilia about Richard the 3rd or the Earls of Warwick circa The War of the Roses? I would have imagined that the 'International' Model boat show would have taken over a whole exhibition centre! How big was it?

It seems like you both enjoyed the Motor Museum?
