  • People with OCD might forget about whether what they are doing is illegal or legal when they get so absorbed.   A court in the USA might not take his OCD and his other medical conditions into account where as British Courts try to.

    Whether he would commit suicide or not sixty years is too long which he might have got if extradited.

    A community sentence would be more appropriate when he should have to work under supervision to help make computer systems more secure.
