  • Aside from the fact that the crimes they are accused of commiting are of an entirely different order, people with Asperger's, whilst being vulnerable, generally have a well-formed understanding of right and wrong, and simply having Asperger's does not exonorate you of any criminal acts you may have perpetrated.

    Gary McKinnon's extradition was not blocked because he has Asperger's, it was blocked because he was profoundly depressed and very likely to kill himself before they had chance to extradite him.
