Hottest day

I spent most of yesterday avoiding the sun and keeping myself and my litluns hydrated. Then in the evening I ran my monthly group for autistic women in my area.

Your photos look amazing! They remind me of the woods in a place called ‘Jimmy’s Farm’ in Suffolk, in any case it looks like the walk was well shaded by the trees. I’m quite tempted take my two youngest for a walk in the woods today now! Is Skipton Castle open to the public to explore inside it?

The woods around it are free. 

But you have to pay to enter the castle and grounds inside the walls.   The half of the castle that is in ruins can be visited.  The other half  where the family lives is private.

Thank you for explaining. I just got back from a walk in the woods with my 5 year old, it was really quite pleasantly cool and shaded. I would post the pictures but photography is not but strong point and they look like they were taken by my 5 year old!
