I'm a big fan of the original Back to The Future film. I think it's perfect in every way (for its time) and it leads you gently through the story, dropping all the information you need so it's simple to follow.
I've watched it many, many times and I've seen the 3rd one a few times as well although I'm not a fan.
I've NEVER seen the second film. I can't do it. I cannot engage with it - something puts me off no more than 20 minutes in. I can't even be bothered to read the Wiki-spoiler to see how it ends.
I just don't care for it.
So what classic films have you NEVER managed to make it to the end?
I also struggle with sequels. Usually the next is much worse than the one before..
Oh, the latest Star wars... sorry. no... after Princess Lea in metal bikini, I can't watch that at all..
I am a Trecky
Shrek 1 = very good - Shrek 2 = better
Toy Story 1 = good - Toy Story 2 = Awesome.
John Wick 1 = good - John Wick 2 = better.
Ironically Taron Egerton (Eggsy in Kingsman) plays Elton John in the biopic of his life, Rocketman! I wonder if that's how they met, filming Kingsman 2 together?
Excellent! Elton John was very good! I had to look away for the 'meat mincer' bits though!!
I loved Kingsman 2. I saw it 3 times in one day - a total experience for the eyes. I admire Elton John for playing his part.
To be fair, I watched Kingsman 2 a few months ago and that was good. It varies. Sometimes the idea for the original movie is so good that the sequel can never possibly live up to it. But sometimes an idea starts in the first movie and then evolves into something even better in second and subsequent movies.
