• I'm sure the ophthalmic surgeon my dad saw was, either way he was really good which was great because his previous one was a moron!

Hope all goes well for your mum

  • Funny you should say that. My mum had to go to the eye hospital she's going blind and has basically been lost in the system.. Cut a long story short she met an ophthalmic surgeon today and was really impressed with his knowledge and passion for his speciality, shes seen a lot of specialists in this field but was most impressed by this bloke, turns out he's an aspie!!Smile

  • "But you look so normal"

I saw a mug that said something like "I do not look autistic, and you do not look ignorant, but here we are"

"you don't have to have autism to work here, but it helps."

This is nice! I bet there are many jobs where autism is an advantage.

  • that's a nice one!

  • I read a reply to the comment "But you look so normal" (on telling someone you have or might have Asperger's), which is "Thanks, so do you."

I would like to put on a mug "you don't have to have autism to work here, but it helps." First I need a place to work where that is true, though. (I dare to dream....)

  • I have a mug with a saying its not specifically an autism thing but a very me thing and I just so happen to have AS:

    It says:

'I know I'm in my own world. Its Ok they know me here!'

Sums me up, away with the fairies! lol

  • “If you’ve met one person with autism, you’ve met one person with autism,” Dr. Stephen Shore.

  • I love the 'I have autism, i think youre weird too' one!

  • My mug at work says:

    I Heart Spreadsheets

I do, and it's also kinda aspie
