toilet training

hi i have a 4 year old with ASD and am trying to toilet train him but am havin no luck!he is happy to sit on the toilet but he wont do any thing.he is starting reception in sept and they would prefer him out of nappies!!does any one have any tips or advice please?xx

  • thank u for you advice rachyjane1,i put him in pants last wk and he wet him self quite a few times,we keep telling him he will get a big present wen he does a wee in the toilet,but its not workin!!am gonna keep trying though and will hopefully get there!!how is your son affected with ASD?is he starting reception in sept?thanks again xx
