I love malapropisms: similar-sounding but incorrect words, which sometimes have a humorous effect.
Here are a couple of recent ones:

Have you ever listened to the Bradshaws? Its full of malaptopisms.
I saw once on the meat stall of the Arndale Market "pork lions" for sale.
This thread, while unrelated reminds me of spurious correlations. For example, did you know that between 2000-2007 the US per capita cheese consumption correlates closely with the number of people who died by becoming tangled in their bedsheets? Or that thr divorce rate in maine coincides with the per capita condumption of margerine? Its about creative use of statistics!
