I have a rigid OCD problem with time and time keeping but i do so enjoy daylight savings as it's an excuse to check and reset the numerous watches clocks and time keeping devices i have ah the joy of punctuality anyone else look forward to resetting all their clocks

  • No.  I can never remember whether clocks go forward or back an hour.

    I just don't understand the logic behind it.

    i always remember it as Spring - Forward and Fall - Back im not that bothered about why daylight savings ie i understand that it's supposed to be for kids coming home from school in daylight i just like the excuse to go through every time piece and make sure they're punctual

    I understand your point about resetting all time pieces so they show the correct time.

    What annoys me is that my mother always knew if clocks went forward or back.  And insisted it was logical and obvious.  And she couldn't understand why I didn't see it.
