I'm not too keen on my son joining facebook or other networking sites but I'd like him to socialise online. This forum is for over 16's only so it would nice if there was one for 13-16 yr olds to discuss things that matter to them.

  • Thanks for the question, there really is a lack of provision for under 16s it would seem. It's something we've looked into to try and find what we can offer to people using the forum who turned out to be below the age range. I'm afraid there wasn't a lot.

    One possible suggestion was the Adolesecent Autism Forum of wrongplanet.net

    Given the size of Wrong Planet it's a pretty active area aimed at young adults, so is one possible suggestion. As with anything we'd mention as a link, we can't guarantee the quality of any service so do check it out yourself.

    We'll all keep looking though, hopefully there may be more out there, especially with a UK focus, that we've yet to discover. If other people have any suggestions we'd be interested to hear them as well.
