Hi, everyone
Does anyone like drawing or art on here? As I feel I don't have anyone to talk about it with.

Hiya
Yes, i love drawing, painting and making things...
Here's a screenshot of a card I made for a friend using scratch art paper.
What kind of stuff do you enjoy?
Happy Sunday,
Anna
I work with mixed media, though I did start out just drawing patterns.
mostly patterns and things, i like doing colouring books a lot especially mandalas ive always loved mandalas type patterns and celtic knots and patterns and things ^_^
I really like drawing and colouring ^_^ 2 of my favourite passtimes and stress reileivers
I would love to try using the Apple Pencil: the-art-of-autism.com/.../
I 'think' by drawing - but I can't do anything that's alive, like people or animals. I do mainly technical drawings where I solve problems and order my thoughts on paper.
I don't keep them, it's just a disposable desktop where I can move things around in my head and then take another 'photo' for memory.
I always carry paper & pens so I can drop into default drawing mode when I'm on my own or waiting somewhere.
Yes, I am an illustrator and a find printmaker, which does involve a lot of drawing. I used to belong to a print cooperative, but I find it very difficult to go into the studio now because I find it hard to deal with other people's disorganisation, leaving sharp things and blobs of ink all over the place etc. I'm lucky to have a small studio with a press at home, and I do miss going and seeing/talking to other people about work, but equally quite glad not to have to interact with some very insensitive people.
I'll try it too thank you
...Crickey. Believe it or not, I only see this Post now (from LoneWarrior), three days later, inviting me to Post something... so here is a something.
This is a very basic drawing tip, complicated yet simple. It was invented <>by Disney, perfected by the Japanese, and then at times forgotten by both of late...
Draw two circles.
Then quarter each circle (either by drawing a cross or by imagining it).
Upon the first, draw eyes and a mouth, like a normal "Smiley" Icon.
Upon the second, draw eyes, and a mouth - BELOW the cross (i.e. on the bottom half of the circle).
...The difference should be seen: The first is just a Face, yet the second is a Juvenile (child). This is a key technique, often forgotten, to drawing Cute, Chan, Children, Appealing, etc. It has nothing to do with "making eyes bigger" or "body size" or such like...
It may seem obvious, yet a lot of "professionals" do not know of it, and once you know it, you can see where it is done correctly and not (in Cartoons or Media).
End of Post.
I like to draw but am not good at it and get frustrated when it all looks wrong.
i prefer technical drawing, rigid structure and orderly lines,
I enjoy seeing pencil sketches especially those that express with little or few lines,
so DC my friend, what do you enjoy ?
Yes, I've always found art relaxing and can lose myself in a project for hours. I miss spending the day looking around art galleries, there aren't any really good ones where I live now. I prefer making things to painting (which I'm not good at) but I quite enjoy drawing and design.
