'Asperger United' and penpals

  • it would be best if a "NAS Moderator" replied here, but, unless you mention children, then that might not happen...

Are we not all fragile children here to a certain extent?  With our struggles in navigating life and understanding ourselves, in dealing and processing with our interactions with the big outside world?

    just a thought...not a criticism.....just a belief

  • To reply to a PenPal Advert in AU, you need not give a real address straightaway, and can give your EMail address... yet whether the recipient responds to this is supposed to be up to them. The thing is, AU was, and still is, supported in Paper Format, by those who *need* the Paper Format, and who might have trouble with "The Internet"...

Good Evening again. As you Thank me, I dare to post another - possibly not-so-helpful, I apologise - Reply, yet again. Please try what I said, there...

BUT - only NOW is there currently another great matter!!

... It is THAT time of year, "Yuletide". And whether anyone follows it or not, it affects us all, within the U.K... and the thing is, "normal service" "shall be resumed"... around mid-January. You may EMail much, yet, for now, as I say, it is THAT time of year...

To close: I am Aspergers, and so is the current Editor of AU... yet we all are forced to stop doing very much at *this* time of year. I apologise in closing over these matters which are not my fault, but please do not think that AU is ignoring you... and, finally, it would be best if a "NAS Moderator" replied here, but, unless you mention children, then that might not happen... Glad Tidings to you in any case.

  • Good Evening. This reply might not be helpful, yet it is written in attempt to be helpful, and through some experience....

I write this because I am such a person: I can Post here, and read replies (sometimes)... but I cannot EMail or "Friend" or "Private Message"!
(I think that this is a difficult concept for people to imagine, within the past twenty-odd years - "having no EMail", that is.)
Good Fortune to you and to all, in any case.
