Where is your happy place?

For me it's tending my plants. It takes my mind off everything.

What works for you?

Parents
  • I really appreciate these seemingly simple, bite sized, questions. They are helping me connect to who I am, what I do, have done and how it all relates to my recent diagnosis.

    My Happy Place

Making something small and intricate, usually from scratch, whilst listening to music or an radio/audiobook. I have had this behaviour since I was very small. Over several decades,  this has included slow stitching (a recent & real favourite), temari, bobbin lace, yubinuki, crochet, dorset buttons, knitting, origami, watercolour painting, etc. I seem to think with my hands - if that makes any sense?
This has been my major, consistantly reliable, happy place.
