I’m really glad this was shared.
I don’t mind the phrase a cry for help to me it can simply mean someone is reaching out because staying alive is hard right now.
What this piece shows so clearly is how much strength that takes. Sometimes we don’t even realise how strong we are, especially when we’re exhausted and worn down, but speaking up is still an act of courage and a choice to keep going.
