A book club - with a difference.

Someone asked today if there is a book club, so I thought I'd try starting one. Not the usual type of club where everyone reads the same book - I thought we could write a synopsis of a book we've recently read, to give each other ideas for new books to read.

I have a Kindle subscription, so all of mine will be available on there for people who also subscribe.

  • I've continued reading Kristen Hannah. I read another one called the Four Winds which I found interesting and enjoyed. I still have two more to go The Women and Winter Garden. Then may have to see if I can buy some more.

I've also read some Freida McFaddon. I'm not sure what I think of her books really. I enjoy reading them and find them real page turners and easy to read but I don't think her books have the quality that an author like Kristen Hannah has. They are easier to get into and I can read more in one go but by the end I'm like well that was alright rather than I really loved that. I have just finished one called the Inmate and have started the Perfect Son.
