Autism and Epilepsy together, anybody else?

I recently discovered that autism and epilepsy has a very strong correlation, and is far more common in neurodivergent people than n/t people. I have both so was wondering if there is anyone else the same-obviously there will be-but how anyone else is affected by it, ie is the epileptic side severe, or moderate, mine is moderate and I also developed it later in life, I was 25 when I had my very first seizure, so still fairly young but I know many are born with or develop it in childhood.

I had a situation in my workplace at this time regarding a work colleague who I started to develop feelings for, and because of this I often felt very emotional and started to have random mini seizures usually every few days for a few weeks, these were seizures that happened whilst I was still conscious and would last a few minutes, I didn't know what these were at the time. After a period of having these I eventually had my very first large seizure, I was at home in my bedroom at the time and my mum rang for an ambulance, I went to hospital and was checked over and after a few hours went home, it took me around a week or two to feel completely normal again, I also had very strange auras in the following period too, for example sensory feelings such as smells and auras from my childhood, that were actually quite pleasant in a bizzare way. I then went through all the procedures such as an MRI and all the necessary tests to confirm that I was now epileptic.

The next large seizure I had was five years later [last year], bought on by a similar situation. Basically it seems that when my neurodivergent brain becomes overly emotional, it reaches a point where it can't cope anymore which then triggers my epilepsy, my epileptic experiences only seem to be brought on by emotional intensity, no other time. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar, or would be interested to know if anyones autism interacts with there epilepsy, as in my case?
