Hi,

Should I disclose to HR that I am autistic?

I was only diagnosed last year. I have been struggling lately and I have been absent a lot. I am scared that they might give me a disciplinary or something.

Any advice would be deeply appreciated

    I’d echo what  said about needing to gauge how supportive your employer is. My current employer has been really accepting, but I kind of cheated because I work for a company that assists people with disabilities. If there is someone you trust in HR, then it might not be a bad idea to bring it up, since your absenteeism could be linked to Autistic burnout (possibly).
