Absolutely ridiculous, as I used to return books on a Saturday morning (when finished it on a Thursday or Friday); now I got to wait until Tuesday or Thursday to return the book.
Community hub are cutting staff hours.
You can still return books at different libraries.
Sadly my local childhood library had this motto but it still went even after it was voulteer run and now it’s a housing estate which makes it all full circle ro be fair as over the road form the library when o moved in was a disused petrol station it was disused becuase they wanted it to become a housing estate
housing without services is like adhd without hyper focus i.e madness
It’s like when I go busking I don’t just consider me I consider buisnesss so after 2 to 3 hours (sometime less if local guidelines are in place) I move so that im at least 100 yards out of ear shot of buisnesses snd I won’t return for another 2 hours if at all ro that spot
