It’s like when I go busking I don’t just consider me I consider buisnesss so after 2 to 3 hours (sometime less if local guidelines are in place) I move so that im at least 100 yards out of ear shot of buisnesses snd I won’t return for another 2 hours if at all ro that spot
but yes most buisnesses are just selfish
It’s sad that housing planners don’t think that people need anything much more than a roof over their head.
Sadly my local childhood library had this motto but it still went even after it was voulteer run and now it’s a housing estate which makes it all full circle ro be fair as over the road form the library when o moved in was a disused petrol station it was disused becuase they wanted it to become a housing estate
housing without services is like adhd without hyper focus i.e madness
The friends library group isn't really active. Prefer to read a physical book.
Oh, no. What a blow. So many people need a access to a post office now that so many bank / building society physical branches have closed down in lots of towns and villages.
I wondered if your library had a friends of / users of group - you can see the type of "support your library" campaigns which such local groups organise:
https://librarycampaign.com/about-us/
In our area, we are very fortunate that the county public library service also operates a couple of apps - so you can also access: eBooks, Audio Books, online newspapers and magazines, music recordings (free, using the details from your usual library card).
Although I generally prefer to read a physical book; if I am in hibernation mode - I am glad of using those public library apps too.
Until further notice:(
the post office is closed on Saturdays until further notice in the community hub.
Yes, that sounds unsettling.
Keep on using it or lose it.
Yes, that is the message to convey.
More changes can't be fun.
Is it just for the one week (due to Bank Holiday Monday) - or is it the new pattern from here onwards?
