Deleted all the waffle because maybe it could be misconstrued as asked for medical advice re my manic episode.
Just after any resources to do with practical mindfulness techniques.

There's a Ted talk on the benefits of meditation and how it can change the brain https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=m8rRzTtP7Tc
Whatever you choose, do it regularly and with commitment.
Hope you are ok Tears?
When I went for CBT, the therapist suggested I try mindfulness and meditation. I was given a handout explaining how the neuroplasticity of the brain can allow new pathways to develop. I like the Headspace app, although I am not currently a subscriber, there is also ‘MyPossibleSelf’ which is free and some others.
I just need to do it more!
I'm more than ok. On top of the world in fact! Just need to slow my thoughts down enough to sleep, because I probably need sleep
I know what you mean! Objectively I know I need to sleep because I think maybe my last sleeping was around Wed/Thurs?? I don't feel tired, but if I don't sleep for too long I know I get hallucinations. I think I'll dig out those sedating antihistamines I have somewhere or other as I'm inclined to think all the breathing and focus stuff ain't gonna work. Thank you
I have no experience of bipolar but I’ve found meditation impossible to do when my anxiety is heightened.
In the nicest possible way, I hope you soon come down from feeling ‘On top of the world’!
