When I went for CBT, the therapist suggested I try mindfulness and meditation. I was given a handout explaining how the neuroplasticity of the brain can allow new pathways to develop. I like the Headspace app, although I am not currently a subscriber, there is also ‘MyPossibleSelf’ which is free and some others.
I just need to do it more!
I do it normally but am manic at the moment (bipolar) so my existing techniques aren't standing up. I don't even know if meditation while manic can work, but gonna try
