Thoughts That Make You Happy

What makes you happy? This forum is dedicated to what you think about to make yourself happy again when you're stressed, frustrated, angry or sad. Happy thoughts away!

  • My horse, although he’s often the reason for the stress in the first place (I tried to post a picture but it wouldn’t upload?)! My neighbours cats and my gecko are also really helpful.
Non-animal wise, I like to think about my favourite character(s), (although one of them is a dragon so I guess that counts as ‘animal related’?). Visualising or practicing my sport also helps.
To stop myself being sick I’ve also got a specific visual of a field of poppies (the flower) that I always go back to in my head, I guess that also counts as a way to stop feeling stressed/overwhelmed?

  • Oh great! What are your favourite characters by the way?

  • Waking up on july 5th to a whole new tory free world.

    Kittens with extravagant purrs

The return of my favourite tv programs,

A new book by a favourite author.

  • Sport plays havoc with the scheduling of many of my favourite programs, I get really fed up and angry. The BBC are the worst for this, I've written to complain twice and they dont' see it as a valid complaint and won't take it any further. The Great God Sport, must overturn everything else and bugger the licence fee payers who don't like sport. I'm getting hot under the collar just  thinking about it.

  • I cannot wait for 5th July for the same reason.

About the tv programs, I have a mental countdown calendar for when they are supposed to be on. Lockdown messed with the schedule a bit, but they all air annually without fail now.
