Autistic teenager stressing about WW3 and being called up

My son is 17 and has seen the news that people will be called up. Obviously the media take a stand that makes it sound like this will happen. He is texting me totally petrified and I don’t know enough fact about this to know the best way to calm him. I have said he won’t go if he doesn’t want to but the news is just saying one thing. Does anyone know any facts to help alleviate his stress, I am really worried about his mental health. Many thanks.

    Basically it's an old General spouting nonsense because he's upset about the army not getting as much funding as he'd like.

    Also, seeing a bit of 'war time Government' rhetoric from the Tories right now, presumably yet another desperate attempt to garner support for the GE from the older electorate.

    That's all it is, really, nobody's going to be forced to join up.
