Feeling like I'm not good enough for society

My whole life it's like I'm below everyone else. Always last to be picked in group activities, people treating me like a toddler, always the second option. And I can tell myself that it's the world that's wrong not me but either way no one's ever going to think I'm good enough for society and it is what it is and it's embarrassing and it's stupid but it's true. Maybe their wrong, maybe their right but the result is still me being fundamentally unlikeable.

  • Well, if they picked you as last place, then wouldn't they become last place in your eyes? If they treat you like a toddler, then don't they look like the toddler to you? If they treat you as the second option, then wouldn't they become the second option to you? Your view of them matters as much as their view of you. If you think they are wrong to treat you that way,  they most likely are wrong, since they would not like it if others treated them that way.  If you don't want to be chosen last, or chosen as the second option, then become the one who chooses and the one who picks, and have more autonomy over your own life.
