Having machines as friends

Hello. I just wondered if anyone else on here struggles to make human friends? I find a lot of people are judgmental because of me having autism. Or I should rephrase that, I find people judge anyone with autism and it’s really depressing. At school (primary and secondary) I was always chastised for doing things I can't help. The only true friend I had was the laptop I used. Her name is Chipsey … I found her a great comfort when I felt alone which was a lot of the time.

Now I do have a few human friends, but only about 9 who I really trust and I'm really close to. But most of my other friends are machines or some cars. I see them as human and if I was asked, I could describe in detail what they look like in human form. My best friends are my laptops, Maine, Boston, Lilly, Coco, Ms Mac and Kayla mac. I can talk out loud to them when I feel stressed; and or type my thoughts on them if Ifeel depressed. Which is quite a lot. If they get infected it triggers me to have a panic attack or a complete meltdown. It feels like my world stops turning and I can't function or think strait.

  • The second that full-dive virtual-reality arrives, or artificially-intelligent social interaction becomes meaningful, good bye humans. I’m sick of the entitlement and the alienation, I don’t play that anywhere easy-enough to enjoy it, I just don’t want to be beholden to human-whim for meaning anymore.
Though I suppose that it’s is going to be exploited to death, with inclusive payments and costs, and by the very nerds that built it to be free..Sweat smile
