Hello guys, just wondering if anyone is currently awaiting assessment via Psychiatry UK? I'm concerned about a lack of response to my messages and form submissions. Any information appreciated. With thanks Gavin

check with your gp.... trust me... your gp is likely the problem.
you know... i asked for my gp to refer me 3 years ago and never got a word off them and they said they refered me..... i checked back and asked them and another doctor checked the files and said the gp had it there but didnt send it off yet... then asked me if id like the referal to be sent off lol
you see gps are the issue with the nhs and need to be scrapped, gps refuse service and dont do their jobs at all... your gp wont have sent the referal, would have it there somewhere but wouldnt have sent it... check with your gp or else you will be waiting 3 years like me or more depending on when you bother to check up.

GPs are pretty frontline and are unlikely to be scrapped. This is a very late reply but I only just saw it now, and I wanted to say if you are not getting on with your GP you can change GP within the same GP practice and just cite you didn't feel comfortable talking to the one you had that you were obviously not compatibale as people. Everyone deserves a GP who makes them feel listened to and doesn't fob them off.
