Panic attacks at night

Does anyone else suffer with panic attacks at night? 
They were really bad over the summer and started again last night- I think due to the storm.

The panic attacks are usually about the inevitability of death, of my own and my loved ones. I try to accept it, but it’s such a painful thing to accept.

  • I used to have a feeling of impending doom quite often , some antidepressants and other medications that I was prescribed I now understand have a different effect on people on the spectrum , especially if the diagnosis is wrong and subsequently the dosage and even the medicine and supporting treatment mindset etc , I got that bad I attempted suicide a few times even though I have a wonderful family and great upbringing sometimes things out of our control influence our lives . I'm blind to most everything at present and I'm suffering amnesia and other difficulties but I'm in their and I'll come back I think , things can get lost and mindsets can divert and wander when the trajectory of life changes . If you have someone you trust then take some time to think about it and say what it is don't circle the periphery of the issue because it can get enveloped and lost in your head , if you have someone your comfortable to say anything to take the opportunity whenever you can .

    Thank you for your reply, I’m sorry to hear that things have been or are that bad for you.

    I have a counsellor that specialises in people with ASD so I talk about this with him sometimes. I know that it’s something that I need to process regularly, especially when something new triggers me or changes my perspective.
