I've been in hospital for a few days after a bogus assesment where a bunch of medical people and some social worker basically backed me into a corner asking me all sorts of questions then decided I should be in hospital.

I've asked to leave So many times but they won't let me its total ball. They aren't taking my autism into account and don't realise how stressful and triggering all this is for me.

Please help me get out

  • The following is from the Mind website that sets out the reasons why someone can be put into a hospital. Maybe when you speak to a solicitor or someone else, you could explain why you think these conditions weren't met.

    • you need to be assessed or treated for your mental health problem
    • your health would be at risk of getting worse if you did not get treatment
    • your safety or someone else's safety would be at risk if you did not get treatment
    • your doctor thinks you need to be assessed or treated in hospital, for example if you need to be monitored very regularly because you have to take new or very powerful medication. Otherwise, you may be asked to attend a hospital out-patient clinic.
