Hi everyone.
Just saying hello, I will be attending a testing day next month for possible aspergers, I have had to do this privately as battling through the NHS route looked like a complete nightmare with my GP not having a clue what was available in my area and after my own investigation finding there was nothing locally. Ive had a lifetime of issues which tick far too many of the aspie boxes to be coincidence and got a score of 43 on the online test from cambridge. So im going to find out if after 40 something years I have been suffering all this time with aspergers. Lots of interesting discussions on here which I am working my way through.

Thank you, I'll check it out.

Hi OLOP,
I'm really sorry about that, not sure what happened there but I should have checked the links were working before posting.
Hoping this will go better -
This is the autism services directory, where you can search from a wide variety of services to find help in your local area, which sounds like what you're looking for - http://www.autism.org.uk/directory.aspx
And for redfairy, this is where you can find NAS services specifically for children - http://www.autism.org.uk/directory/browse/cid=307
And this is NAS services specifically for adults http://www.autism.org.uk/directory/browse/cid=315
Once again, my apologies.
Ross
Hi Ross.
Thank you very much for your reply, unfortunately none of the links appear to work
Hi OLOP and redfairy,
It seems like you both might get some benefit from our local resources.
[Edit - broken links removed: see below]
I hope some of these provide some benefit to you.
Best wishes,
