Hi I’m Cazzy and new to the community. Frustrated by my experience of assessments at the moment so unfortunately that’s all I can say for now.
hopefully to get some support as completely isolated as non verbal.

I'm finding the heat difficult as well
Thank you Cinnabar wing, I feel soooo isolated, my own doing partly but I could do with some connection from time to time. It’s good to know you are not completely alone sometimes.
Thanks Alice, I have looked at all the information but totally overwhelmed. I’m Diagnosed ADHD but according to the assessor I need to speak for an autism assessment and I have been non verbal for a lot of my life. My MP is over seeing my case as it makes absolutely no sense. My spoons are low which is also a contributing factor to fighting everything. I was hoping for understanding here in this forum as I’m hitting brick walls alone.
Hello
Welcome to the community forum
I love reading — mostly fiction and non-fiction.
For winding down I’m into colouring books, especially *Coco Wyo* — they’re bold, easy and relaxing. Their website has good tips too!
Craft-wise I enjoy making cards and bookmarks, and I paint ceramics sometimes.
Listening to music, watching the birds and going to my group occasionally.
Hi Pinkchocoholic, my two dogs are my everything and all I have. They are my lifeline. I love music too. Finding this weather exceptionally difficult.
Hi Cazzy welcome to the forum. Thankfully it's a level playing field here, in that you don't need an assessment or be able speak to take part, which is a great relief to all!
I hope you can enjoy joining in here and feel a part of this community!
Hi I like reading, doing jigsaws, diamond painting, animals (have a family dog), wordsearches, card making, playing with fidgets, cuddly toys, watching YouTube and listening to music.
Hi Cazzy,
Welcome to the community, I am glad you have joined. I am sorry to hear about the frustrations you are having with assessment.
We have a page dedicated to the diagnosis process that may be helpful for the frustrations with assessments you are experiencing: https://www.autism.org.uk/advice-and-guidance/diagnosis
We provide a website dedicated to loneliness, that you may also find useful: https://www.autism.org.uk/advice-and-guidance/loneliness
The Autism Service Directory may also be helpful in finding support for you.
I hope this helps and I am sure our community will welcome you and talk about their experiences as well.
Best wishes,
Alice Mod
