Hello - Any younger people here - 18-25? - New here :)

Hello,

I'm new to these forums and I'm honestly just looking to connect with like-minded people. (I go on a bit so if you finish to the end maybe that means we'll get along ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧ )

I'm 18, later diagnosed at 16 when I very much would have benefitted from being diagnosed earlier (I went to an all girls school where the SEND department was lacking and very dismissive whilst being bullied/ostracised - etc etc)

I've always struggled with friendships, making and maintaining, but I found that I connect a lot easier with other neurodivergent people. My closest friends in secondary school also had mental health struggles and autism or adhd. But since we've all grown a bit older we've also naturally drifted apart which honestly still hurts a bit, since I struggled a ton trying to get into colleges and fitting in. Now I'm doing online college, trying to prepare for potential uni or music college.

I was quite a bit of a 'shut-in' between 16-17 as I was getting diagnosed. My mental health suffered and so did my opportunities for making friends. I still struggle today, so if there are any other young people like me that may've experienced/experiencing similar stuff to me, I honestly just wanna connect/potentially be friends. Especially if we have common interests: (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

Music: Rock, Metal, j-rock, internet stuff, going into deep-dives to discover new cool stuff

I also play guitar and bass Guitar⋆⭒˚.⋆

Videogames: indie/rpg/horror/fantasy/fun stupid stuff

Learning languages specifically Japanese (yes I'm a bit of a nerd)
